С началом церковного дня - в 17.00, в церквях служат Св. Литургию Чрагалуйца (возжигание светильников). В этот вечер люди уносят с собою в дома зажжённые в церкви лампады и свечи, которые символизируют божественный свет, благословение Церкви. Возжигание светильников символизирует свет Вифлеемской звезды, которая волхвам указала путь к Младенцу Иисусу.
